In honor of National Technician Appreciation Week, the IMTA and CountryMark. Are holding their 2nd annual essay contest for a chance to win a special technician $500. National Technician Appreciation Week is set aside to recognize and thank the professional men and women technicians who keep our big rigs on the road and without, the trucking industry could not survive.
Professional technicians have played a key role behind the scenes for your business and Americans as a whole. These professionals serve a vital role in the mission of hauling goods and materials across the country. They work tirelessly to ensure truckers can safely and securely deliver goods and resources to our communities and businesses daily.
Nominate a professional technician in your company or life that exemplifies the meaning and purpose of a professional technician. Share their story, in 250 words or less, giving them a chance to win a $500 cash prize.
All stories will be published on THE IMTA website but only one will win! Stories will be read/voted on by the IMTA’s Safety and Maintenance Council Members.
Rules and Guidelines for Entry:
250 words or less; submit to info@intrucking.org or via the submission form below no later than September 7th, 2022.
All technicians need to work for a maintenance/repair business or carrier terminal in the state of Indiana.
Safety is key in our industry; do not forget to mention all the safe things they do on the job!
IMTA Membership is NOT Required to Enter or WIN!
Must provide technician name, company name and contact information (phone and address) for verification.
Must provide author name and contact information.
Must provide a picture with your story.
