CANDIDATE 1: Ross Clarke, Carter Express
About Ross - 8 years of industry experience on the carrier side. He has held numerous roles in the logistics analyst department including routing, customer savings, company cost and continuous improvement. He has his MBA from Anderson University and is currently in the sales and pricing side of the business.
"Ross has a great understanding of the industry and the costs that carriers are facing. With that knowledge, he could set up some great events and speakers to help carriers better understand, and control their costs. While also providing more value to their customers. He has a great personality and leadership style and would help to motivate and excite the group."
CANDIDATE 2: Meggie Foster, CountryMark
About Meggie - "8th year at CountryMark currently serving as a Business Development Manager; Healing the Heartland: Rural Mental Health Awareness Event Chair; State Young Farmer Achievement Award Winner; National Young Farmer Top 10 Achievement Award Finalist; Former National Jersey Queen; Indiana State Ag Leadership Program Class 18 Graduate; Indiana State Fair Farm Family of the Year"
"I would love the opportunity to share my talents with the FLI group through a role on the leadership team. Throughout my career, I have fine-tuned my organizational and communication skills in addition event and program management. As an allied member, I work with a variety of industries and business types, which gives me the benefit of a diverse perspective and ability to listen and learn well from others. With nearly 20 years in the professional workforce, I would enjoy the opportunity to give back to the FLI group and support the efforts to grow future leaders of the IMTA."
CANDIDATE 3: Ted Pappert, Buchanan Hauling & Rigging
About Ted - Started in the trucking industry in 2015 as an salesperson, he has developed an incredty book of business and know manages the 2nd biggest customer at Buchanan, he is a team player that shows great respect to his customer and all he employees he works with.
