Trucks move 80% of all products in the U.S.  Regardless of the economy, trucking in Indiana supports many families.  This happens - in large - because your state trucking association, the IMTA proactively protects the interests of the industry.

We have  strong relationships with state and federal resources including FMCSA, State Police-Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, Department of Transportation, Department of Revenue, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and elected officials just to name a few.  This is in addition to utilizing the peer network between associations from state to state.

Members have a voice in the ever-changing landscape of Trucking.

As a trucking company, it doesn’t matter if it’s a one truck or 14,000 truck operation.  The association has the pulse of the political landscape, representing the Indiana trucking industry 24/7.  Whether it’s tax reform, driver and technician recruiting programs, regulatory issues, etc. Whether you are an owner operator of a small fleet or OTR carrier, with hundreds of trucks, the IMTA is working for your business needs.
