Rated a Top 10 New Course in America for 2008 by Golf Digest, Heritage Hill Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located just minutes from Louisville in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
Former Jack Nicklaus design associate Doug Beach planned the 7,100+ yard golf amenity to be a test for golfers of all abilities while remaining fun to play. The par-72 golf course sports bent grass greens and zoysia tees and fairways. Its five tee boxes ensure every level of golfer will be challenged.

Our Bourbon & Bats package features both the Louisville Slugger Museum and Barrels & Billets. During your visit, you’ll see the following:

35-minute Guided Factory Tour: Take a walk through our factory and see wood chips fly as we teach you about how we turn bats for professional players and retail customers.

Main Museum Gallery: Highlights the evolution of baseball throughout the years.

Bat Vault: A room with thousands of hand turned bat models, including prototypes made for legendary MLB hitters.

Hold a Piece of History: Get hands-on with bats used by greats like Babe Ruth, Johnny Bench, Ken Griffey Jr. and others.

Theater: Watch a quick 23-minute movie featuring stars like Johnny Bench and Tony Gwynn who talk about how they got into the game. At the end is news footage recovered from 1996 when we first reopened in Louisville.

Batting Cages: Swing with bats that are replicas of those from baseball legends or modern metal composite bats. ($2 per person add-on. Must purchase upon arrival)

If you’d like to create your own full-size bat, you can do so in our museum store before or after the factory tour.

After checking out the museum, you will begin your bourbon tasting with a Big Bat Bourbon team member. Big Bat Bourbon is a Custom Bourbon Experience where you learn a little bit about the history of the bourbon while tasting six of our bourbons. Then you will get to create your own custom bourbon flavor! If you like the bourbon you have created, you will be able to purchase that specific blend with your own custom label on the bottle.
